Although my wife used the old one, with the corners broken off, it was enough; I thought differently. She is incredulous. The oven top was the perfect replacement for our old GE countertop. Has a lot of new gadgets that we will have to get used to, but that will come with time. The fan is significantly quieter. The only two things I want to change are very minor. First, they're harder to clean than older ones; No problem. Second, as the stove is installed higher, an extra duct is needed for the vent, so the space under the stove is wasted. However, I am glad I made the purchase and my wife is happy.
