A relief for hobs, ovens and hobs

Had to replace an old electric range that could barely boil water. There aren't many downdraft electric oven options, but this oven works great. The water boils almost instantly compared to my 26 year old Jenn air and the heat seems constant meaning if I turn the knob to seven and boil the same, it will boil the same way. I had to constantly monitor my old one to get it to the desired temperature.

GREAT REPLACEMENT: Ranges, Ovens & Hobs

Although my wife used the old one, with the corners broken off, it was enough; I thought differently. She is incredulous. The oven top was the perfect replacement for our old GE countertop. Has a lot of new gadgets that we will have to get used to, but that will come with time. The fan is significantly quieter. The only two things I want to change are very minor. First, they're harder to clean than older ones; No problem. Second, as the stove is installed higher, an extra duct is needed for the

Happy with this cooktop

I installed the cooktop after the granite workers cut out the opening. The electrical part was pretty easy since my old stove was electric. After trying rigid air duct connectors, I returned those parts and bought a 6" flexible air duct. As mentioned in my video, I cut vertical slits in the flexible tube so that it wraps around the cooktop chamber. This left a lot of gaps between the slots, so I filled those gaps with shiny tape, and the tape also keeps the tube in the plenum. If you're doing a

It's worth installing!

Was not easy to install. I pulled a 1988 downwind Jennair. The fan housing gives you just a few inches of clearance from the cabinet floor after adding the required and indispensable rectangular to round vent fitting. So if your vent fitting is even slightly different, there is no room for adjustment. It was so low that I had to design a new fitting out of a 90Β° vent. In addition, the kit did not have the necessary electrical equipment. I had to buy. After installing it I thought it was an…

Great Stove - Ranges, Ovens and Hobs

There aren't many options for a downdraft cooktop. We've had this for 2.5 months now. Works great, I like the "energy cooking" and the left burners that can heat up in the middle for a pan. I clean it with the recommended cleaner and sponge. No scratches or problems so far - I use cast iron pans, steel wok, very heavy steel pan. Just keep it clean and don't drag pans over the top. Clean it immediately if the rice overcooks or becomes greasy - using it in a dirty state will make further cleaning

Nice hob with a long down draft.

The beautifully designed hob fits neatly into the worktop where an old hot tub used to stand. Looks good and functional. There are three single and one double burner. The handles are nice too. Overall, the stove itself should get 5 stars. I'm giving it three stars because of the adverse pull flaws. The pull out drawer is too long and takes up more than half of a standard size closet. Likewise. Previously, the downdraft was round while GE has a rectangular downdraft. I had to purchase a separate

First, I can't describe the frustration of seeing a new glass panel with cheap paper warning stickers that are IMPOSSIBLE to remove without harsh solvents or scratching the glass. after a very long attempt of 2 hours to remove the glue and paper from the warning stickers with a simple green paint and vindex, i scratched the glass. with the included cleaning cloth. If only they used a better quality decal it wouldn't be a problem. Second, there was NOT A SINGLE electrical connector in the kit…
