I installed the cooktop after the granite workers cut out the opening. The electrical part was pretty easy since my old stove was electric. After trying rigid air duct connectors, I returned those parts and bought a 6" flexible air duct. As mentioned in my video, I cut vertical slits in the flexible tube so that it wraps around the cooktop chamber. This left a lot of gaps between the slots, so I filled those gaps with shiny tape, and the tape also keeps the tube in the plenum. If you're doing a clean install where you can find the exhaust pipe properly, you won't have this problem. Overall I am very happy with this hob. I find it easy to clean it every night instead of waiting for grease to build up. It takes less than 5 minutes to clean if you do it when you first need it.
