I bought this Genesis V2100 27.5 mountain bike bottom bracket at Walmart. The original still used cheap bearings in the cages, which were vulnerable to water ingress because they weren't sealed. So far the installation went smoothly. The left side shell seemed about to cross the thread, so be careful with that; However, I'm pretty sure it would be easy to cross the thread with any BB if you're not careful. It feels nice and smooth on the bike and is decently quiet. I wanted a Shimano BB UN55 but it's not currently available so I took a chance on buying this one and it seems more than good enough for the moment. I won't be riding trails but mostly the neighborhood and maybe gravel trails. As long as I'm happy I'll let you know if I run into any durability issues in the future.
