Forget buying or wearing this shoe if you want a narrow width.
Advertised as a small size but the width has changed since I bought my last pair of the exact same shoes a year ago. the old model fitted perfectly and was even a bit tight. Now size S or narrow has become too big and I had to use an extra insole to get a fit that allows me to wear this shoe snug enough. I still love the fact that the rawhide laces wrap around the heel of the shoe. This allows the wearer to tighten the heel area to maintain a proper fit. I think I need to omit the top hem as a shoe. This will probably be the last pair I will buy. My guess is that the new manufacturing process in China uses regional regulations when determining size and width. Manufacturers out there probably can't imagine a person with a foot that calls for a size 12 and a width AA.
