as you can see in the video provided it is not possible to plug it into side sockets. Front sockets - some are easier to fit but difficult to take out. I started with the recording, I plugged in the cable and saw sparks! definitely not a good sign after just unplugging it. I haven't tried any USB ports. I didn't see a reason to as the outlets are bad enough to warrant a refund justify it. I don't want a replacement. Maybe I just received a bad product. Who knows. But I'm definitely not happy with this purchase and don't want to risk another try.
