Review on BARSKA Floatmaster AB12738 7x50 Waterproof Marine Binoculars for Boating, Hunting, Fishing, Sports, etc. - Yellow by Stephen Cooper

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Well done but tough.

I like them and assuming they're filled with gas I think they're a good buy but I was disappointed with how narrow the focus is. This complaint is probably related to the cortisone injection I got in my index finger yesterday for arthritis, but they are undoubtedly stiffer than many of the binoculars I've had over the years. It took two fingers to move. So far they seem nice and bright, but I'm also disappointed in the fact that they don't focus closer than 75 or 80 feet or so. I like the power, 7x50 so a good wide field and power 7 is easier to keep stable. They are eventually used in rocking ship applications. I won't throw them in the water to test them, but they seem too heavy to swim. They are also marked as "Made in China". Hopefully not in the last three or four months! LAUGH OUT LOUD
