Review on The Ultimate BISupply Aluminum Ramp Kit: 12in Brackets, Rubber Feet, and Tailgate Ramp Plate Kit by Anthony Hicks

Installation on the board is not easy unless required.

If you wish to install this product on your board for maximum strength, cut off the end of the board as shown in the pictures. The board I bought was slightly concave so I had to use the "c" clamps to control ramp placement. The ramp mount is at a slight angle and doesn't have the standard 1-1/2" spread (typical plate thicknesses in the US are 2" plates), so my action was to set it at a 7-1/2 degree angle to cut a circular saw and carve out the relief. . I used a 5/16" drill bit to drill the holes. Let the drill do all the work because if you pry out the included carriage bolt, you won't have enough wood to bite and hold. The nut is a 1/2 inch socket or wrench and your kit. The length of the board I chose for the ramp was 124-3/4", which was just right for my 670 lb effort.
