I took it as a backup plasma cutter for Wheat State Welding LLC in Derby, Kansas. So far, so good. I've only used it to cut material about 3/8th thick but it seems to work very well and the consumable life is the same or even better than my previous plasma cutter and the fact that the consumables for this one Pt-31 style burners very good are cheap. The only negative I can say about it is that the ground wire is too short to not place it right next to your desk. The initial quality of this plasma cutter is very high so I will double check my review if anything goes wrong with it as I have only had it for a few weeks but have used it for those few weeks. and seems to be a good actor. This is not a blowback torch design, so you must touch the tip of the torch to the workpiece before starting. I highly recommend that if you need to pierce, you do so at an angle and then rotate the torch to the 90° position to cut so you don't blow a bunch of material back into the tip.
