Based on sm2262 with a great SLC caching algorithm, the ex920 really surprises me with its qd1qd4 4k read as well as well done SEQ read. These are key factors for users who intend to use NVME as a system drive. Surprisingly, replacing my previous NVME, Adata sx8000, with an EX920 increased my download speed by 1.6x! Despite the great feature mentioned above, consumers may find it difficult to find official support on the HP website. Although it has a 5-year warranty like its sx8200 and 760p competitors, the lack of an official support page for the ex920 would really be a downside. Looks like you should contact either HP's laptop department or accessories department for EX920 support. Another important point. Thing for those who use this NVME: Since the ex920 has a similar architecture to the Intel 760p, their driver can also be applied to the ex920. In fact, a 15% improvement in 4k/4k multithreading was achieved on my system. (Tested on Ryzen1700+B350 chipset)
