Review on πŸ–¨οΈ Tappable Engineering Printing: Non-Brittle Resolution Solution by Brad Schaefer

Not ready for primetime mono screen usage

This resin is dumb. The detail it can create on the side opposite the build plate is phenomenal. On the other hand, anything facing the plate is garbage. Tried everything, new FEP, wide exposure time settings, different layer thicknesses, different retraction speeds, etc. Nothing came out with clean details at negative angles. Went back to EPAX Solid Resin and the exact same file came out only half decent with a pristine Build Resin print so good it looks like a cast resin part due to all the debugging and tweaking I did trying to get assembly work. For one, it works great by printing objects like miniature bases directly onto the buildplate, it solves the negative angle problem and produces bases that are absurdly strong and durable. I can throw it full force at a marble floor and it will bounce about 4ft in the air without breaking (40mm base), multiple times! We will have the best miniature resin on the market. All test runs of Sonic Mini producing with Epax Hard print after print with insane detail on all sides.
