Review on OMP OA 1000 Racing Pedal by Brian Nelson

Great pedals, can be tricky to install

I installed these on my 2006 Ford Ranger. The Ranger has a metal clutch and brake pedal and a plastic accelerator pedal. This means you will need a 1/4" titanium drill bit to install the clutch and brake pedals. There is enough space and options for placing the pedals. As for the gas pedal (it will be a problem on 90% of cars). The shape of the pedal meant I had to carefully choose where I would stop and sand away the material to make room for the bolt and nut that hold the pedal in place. My advice to anyone wanting to do this is to look at yours Look at pedals with caps. removed, especially the accelerator pedal. Make sure there is enough space on the BACK of the pedal, otherwise you will damage your OEM pedals and fail to install. The extra weight feels very nice, and the ability to fine-tune pedal position is a luxury, especially if you're feeling uncomfortable behind the wheel after long hours.

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Mostly fine, but...
