I took it because of the opportunity to watch IP-TV. Immediately ated the firmware to the version from 04/01/2022. It's a shame that the firmware from 12/29/2022 and 04/01/2022 was created to the detriment of IP-tv viewing performance. FHD channels, for example from the VF package with Edem tv, constantly shut up, the processor simply cannot cope with them, viewing is not possible. I also have a DEXP HD8835P set-top box, created on an older GX3235S processor and without a LAN port. So here it is, connected to the Internet via WIFI, shows these channels with virtually no plugging. I returned the Selenga980 prefix to the old firmware from 10/12/2022. IP-tv worked fine, but this firmware has its drawbacks. I also had to modify the processor cooling. Directly on top of the factory radiator, a larger radiator was fitted through thermal paste and glued with superglue to the TV tuner screen for strength. From below, under the processor, a piece from a copper tip from a soldering iron with a diameter of 6 mm and a length of 11 mm was soldered to the board. With the other end, this piece of the sting is pressed through the thermal paste to the bottom of the console case. After such refinement, the set-top box worked all day in IP-tv viewing mode. No failures were observed.
