I used to warm my tortillas in foil in the oven. I had no idea how to properly reheat the tortillas (wet cloth, nuke for x time). This is a really economical way to keep tortillas warm until ready to eat. This small tortilla warmer keeps tortillas warm for up to an hour. I've used it at least a dozen times since buying it and now I wonder how I ever lived without it. We eat a lot of corn tortillas (fish taco fanatics). I may speak as a salesperson, but I'm serious. i love this thing In response to those who think the heater is difficult to open, it is not. It is very easy to clean, rinse and wipe dry. Excellent purchase.
