I was glad to get this phone for my mother who has problems using regular phones. She's in a nursing home and you have to dial 9 before the phone number to call, and this phone allows us to program that. That's the only reason I gave two stars, otherwise it would have been one star. The sound quality is terrible. The volume is very low at the highest level and the sound comes in and out like waves. When my mother calls me from this phone, I tell her to hang up so I can call her back and she can answer on her other, much better but non-programmable phone. I do not recommend this phone to anyone.
