Thank goodness - I was able to find the right dress for my daughter for a very important funeral in no time. There was nothing suitable in the local shops and I was desperate. I found this on Amazon and ordered three sizes due to lack of time. My slim and slightly tall 9 year old is perfect for a size 7-8. A lot of people commented on how "elegant" she looked. It hit the right path - respectful and humble, but at the same time pleasing to the eye. She didn't like the boy's black school jacket and I finally made sure she wasn't cold, but hey. If I had more time I would try to find a nice jacket or cardigan to go with it. it's not easy with black evening wear for kids.
