Review on Walker 81767 CalCat Catalytic Converter by Randy Montiel

2000 was Accord ULEV (Ultra Low Emission Vehicle) and Magnaflow didn't have enough filter metals for my car's emission standards. The Cat encoder code light on the dash came on after installing Magnaflow. This unit was easily installed (by a mechanic) and the dashboard light went out. This one fits the bill and is made out of stainless steel, so it should last a long time. The only thing that might worry me in the future is the heat shield, which is a series of angular metal spot welds in a stainless steel body. I'm sure the heat shield will rust over time. Although I think it's a small thing. The housing of the Cat transmitter is made of stainless steel.
