Ideal for protecting surfaces.
I put this rug on my washing machine so I don't scratch the paintwork when I use my little ironing board. I don't use it for ironing because it's quilted and not smooth. I also use it to turn on my blow dryer and curling iron when they are still warm and not very hot. Works great for these items.
