Two years ago I bought a TV mount from this company for a 42" flat screen in my home office. I chose this original mount because it has a large number of Had mounting points on the rails which made it easy to center the tv in the room and still mount it on studs. I just got a 50" tv for my bedroom and bought this mount based on the company's name recognition. In comparison however, to the other mount, this mount seems more solid: 1) It has a lot more limitations on the mounting points, so I couldn't center the TV and hit the studs 2) The plastic plugs on the rails took *a lot* of force to snap into place 3) The screws that attach the center piece to the rails felt a bit kuy when assembled rz and non-intuitive. In the end I returned this product and bought a second original mount (same company). If the location on the mount suits your wall and I think you will be happy with this mount. I was disappointed that it didn't work in my case despite the flex mount indicators, so I deducted a star.
