Matte black is beautiful

Benefits: Direct replacement for 1 original/standard nut per wheel. (Research your car to purchase correct size.) Perfect fit, no hassles and great packaging. The fall season is the best time of year for this, thieves are keen to steal and sell them as "winter wheels" for easy money, they don't need to store them for long as they travel faster. This is a 10 minute DIY job. on all 4 wheels and could be done in the dark of night; it is so easy. (Interesting side note: I saw someone staring at me while I was doing the work, they walked by as if it was ok for someone to spin the wheel in the dark. Then it justified my purchase). ', but you need a ratchet socket wrench to tighten and loosen the installation. The size of the wrench for the nose lock "key" is the same size as the original/standard nut on my machine, which was a very handy and thoughtful benefit for the end user. Your original/stock nut may vary in size and, well, maybe not conveniently, it just depends on the size of the nut on your particular vehicle. Easy Installation: 1. Open and remove the 4 eyelet locks and 1 eyelet "key" from the blister pack and place in the front pocket of your pants/jacket until you need to install.2. Locate your socket wrench and find the correct slot size for the nose lock "key". (Check if it's the same head size to remove the original/standard nut from your wheel. If it's different, just use the wheel wrench that came with your car's spare wheel set.)3. No need to jack up the car, just loosen and remove 1 original/standard nut from any wheel.4. Replace these 1 original/standard nut with 1 new nut holder. Tighten by hand.5. Immediately tighten the nut holder and tighten to the specified torque using a new nut lock wrench inserted into the ratchet socket wrench or, if desired, the wrench supplied with the spare wheel kit.6. Store the new nose lock "key" in the trunk/tailgate with the spare tire kit.7. After the first test drive, check again for firm seating. (Move to the next wheel and repeat these 7 steps for the rest of the wheels.) Cons: The only problem will be road grit and winter driving. Several reviews have said that the powder coating is thin, and it could be, but it's not immediately obvious out of the box or after tightening it up.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
