Review on Hannspree Hanns G HW 191D Widescreen TFT Monitor - Wide Screen, Premier Quality Display‎ by Matthew Hall

I just received this monitor and am very happy with the performance. Arrived in perfect condition, no dead pixels. One thing I quickly discovered was that widescreen tends to distort some aspect ratios. I have many digital photos and videos that I rip to DVD for home movies. Photos and videos look great on my old square monitor (4:3 aspect ratio), but now they look a bit stretched on a widescreen monitor (16:9 aspect ratio). I'm sure there are programs/viewers that can fix this. Otherwise I am very satisfied with the sharpness of detail and brightness.
