So, earlier this year I was gifted one of these hands-free magnetic fan holders to use with my phone so I could drive hands-free. Industrial fair. I'm all for it. Now that I've got it, it came with a couple of magnetic strips to attach to my phone so my new magazine holder can hold it while I drive. Maybe the supplied kit was defective or something. They never worked properly and didn't hold my phone in place because they kept slipping off the case. TBH, they never really got the body right because they weren't the right size, to keep it right and stay in place. I hope this second set I received will work? Well, time will tell.
