Review on Mandala Crafts Ag0 3 Cu0 7 Solder: Reliable and Efficient Solder for Various Applications by Ryan Turner

I don't understand why this solder got such a high rating as it didn't work well for my soldering needs (electronics repair). Every solder joint I've used it on looked awful. boring, almost like a cold solder joint. I've tried several soldering iron temperature settings, but always the same result. Posted a question on an electronics forum for advice and opinion and was overwhelmed with comments that this solder is cheap Chinese junk not really intended for serious electronic component soldering. I would have sent it back but the return window closed just a month after receiving it. I've been an electronics engineer for almost 45 years and I've never seen soldering results like this. I got the impression it was intended for making jewelry.
