My son loves these sweatpants! They are really good quality and very soft. They're made from a cotton-polyester blend and are soft inside and out. They are not light but rather medium and heavy which is great for winter! However, he doesn't sweat too much when wearing them. They're flexible for change and look good enough to wear all day to school. The drawstring is functional which is great if you have a child that doesn't fit a certain size. The waistband is also made of elastic. Overall this is a great pair of runners that I would definitely recommend!
