Review on 🚗 MagnaFlow 23388 Direct-Fit Catalytic Converter: Standard Grade, Federal/EPA Compliant by David Perez

Adapted to Ford Explorer 91 4-Door 4WD with 4.0L Primary Displacement, JBA Manifolds and Gibson Cat Back Exhaust. 6 weeks, 1500 miles later: I think this affected the position of my performance pants more than anything else. My regular cat was poorly stocked, but this one has a very high consumption. Not sure about the emissions as I don't have to test in my city but I feel like I can drive with no problems as my engine has just been overhauled and is running well again. The quality is ok. Welds are strong and efficient, just plain ugly and unassuming. It went well with the headers and muffler. The kit included a gasket for the muffler but no bolts for the studs that connect the Y-pipe. This delayed me for a few days before I could get a proper replacement as my old barrels, which instructions must be reused, were horribly rusted for an old cat. It really makes me feel like the 4 star rating is justified in my opinion. Otherwise, the cat does its job with a small fan fair. As a system with JBA and Gibson on my truck that has multiple exhaust upgrade options, this is a great setup. i like the tone Aggressive and soft, but not flashy and not loud.
