Review on 🔨 Interactive Melissa & Doug Deluxe Wooden Toy: Pound, Roll & Hammer Tower by Doug Taylor

This is the first toy my 20 month old son fell in love with. We just received the tower today and he has been sitting and playing with it for a long time (30 minutes at a time the first time and now over 45 minutes as I write this review). The first time I took him away to do other things, I threw a tantrum. So it's definitely a goalkeeper. Ooooh I'm so glad I bought it! In terms of education: so far the toy has met my expectations. My son occasionally says "ball" when he's playing with the tower, and manipulating balls through the holes with a hammer trains his fine motor skills. And as his ability to distinguish colors improves, the rook becomes a good tool to help him distinguish between different colors of bullets, hammer and turret. The thing about my rook is that it and the bullets and the hammer already look beat. As they are all made of wood I have no doubt that they will stand the test of time with my little one. But from an aesthetic point of view, it only took my son a few minutes to have all the details look pretty worn (no bites, scratches, etc.) from normal gaming. After my review I will try to upload some photos. My take on some other reviews: This toy is designed for children from 2 to 7 years old. My son is only a few months away from his 2nd birthday. So it was convenient for me to buy a tower and let him play with it right away. But I noticed that some of the people who gave this toy a bad rating were posting their comments based on children being SIGNIFICANTLY UNDER THE RECOMMENDED AGE for this toy. So I think these bad reviews are completely unfounded.
