Not recommended! Initially this pillow helped me get up in my sleep although the valve fills and deflates a serious pain in the ass. Since it was quite practical, I simply accepted the valve. Everything was fine and normal for about 15-20 inflation/deflation cycles, after which it started leaking about an hour later. I thought it was the valve but I just filled the tub and dunked the pillow to find it was leaking through two small tears near the creases. I could try to fix it, but since it's already been cracked twice, I don't suspect the next hack will be far behind. These cracks are small, about 1/4 inch or less, and very difficult to see until you immerse them in water; both are on top of the large end of the pillow. I would say I was gentle with this pillow. , it should not have failed. The worst thing is when I bought it it was $40!
