Sturdy, looks well built. It was very easy to pair the remote control with two collars. I agree with many other reviewers. The impact is too sharp, and even a squeeze corrects it for a full second. I have training collars but the boxes are too bulky for one of my dogs. Pitch correction mode lasts 1/10 second. The first level of this collar appears to be higher than the teacher's 10th level, even with rubber caps. My big dog responds to level 7 and level 10 is too high for him so I won't use electric shocks but the vibrations are good and strong so I think they will work fine. The remote control is definitely more convenient to use and more convenient to carry in your pocket than the teacher.
