Review on πŸš€ Enhanced Braking Performance: Power Stop K2706 Drilled & Slotted Brake Rotors Kit with Z23 Carbon Fiber Brake Pads for Front and Rear by Marcus Merritt

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Easy to install, looks good, does not generate dust, but does not have good stopping power.

So here is my review 2.5 years after I bought these brakes. There's a reason it took 2 1/2 years. When I bought them I really only needed to replace the front brakes, but figured the rear ones would need replacing soon after, so I bought both front and rear. At that time I only installed the front ones. They were easy to put on and looked beautiful. They don't leave brake dust on the wheels, which is nice too. Everything about them is good except braking power. I can't speak to other reviews of these brakes because they mostly talk about good stopping power and mine doesn't. After installing the front, braking seemed to get "softer" than it should be. But after a while I got used to it. A few weeks ago I took my car to a mechanic for an engine repair. He noticed that the rear brake pads were very close to the end of their lifespan. I figured I still have the rear brake I bought two years ago and instead of buying the Wagner brakes I would just ask him to put them on (I couldn't as I currently have a shoulder injury) . which slows my movements and forces.) Well IMMEDIATELY while driving I noticed that the braking power was even softer. I mean it's soft! It worries me so much that I think I might have to buy something else and start over. Very frustrating. Some of you might think the brakes just need bleeding, but I have a great mechanic and he knows what he's doing. So I'm sure he already has.
