On many vehicles, the license plate studs/screws are the front edge of the vehicle. This license plate protector is great to solve this problem. For example, if you hit or touch another car while parallel parking, everything is fine. I think that's the purpose of this framework. Every car should have at least this as a courtesy to others. This frame doesn't look unusual even from a few meters away, which is very nice. I will say that if you actually bump into something while driving or, for example, hit the debris of the road, the soft outer part looks like it will separate from the rear. So it's not like some of the other thicker, heavier, stronger rubber frames that are a bit more bumper-like, but they look "different" to bumpers. This one looks ok.
