Review on Black Samyang SY14M-C 14mm F2.8 Ultra Wide Fixed Angle Lens for Canon with Enhanced SEO by Park Seo Jun

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I did not regret the purchase, everything is fine.

Everything would be just fabulous, if not for the last flaw. The lens carried the mounts of my camera and now even a brand new canon 24-70 2,8 has begun to play a little. In general, check the backlash of the mount when buying, if it is not there and everything else is in order, then you just got a fabulous lens at the same price. Pros below: I have been using it for almost 5 months. + The sharpest and fastest super-wide on ff Canon for a penny. When I bought it, I drove for canon 16-35 2.8. For 2 days I came to the store 2 times and took test shots under different conditions, outdoors and indoors. As a result, Samyang seemed even sharper than the canon. As a result, I took s-g. Has some cons - Full manual. So I'm not used to it all this time. - Large distortion (not a drawback by and large, corrected by 2 clicks in the editor on the distortion correction profile available on the Internet) - In bright oncoming light, there are glare, but it rarely appears, I have only 1 time. - And the main drawback of my copy is the geometrically inaccurate bayonet. The lens dangles slightly in the camera when the focus and aperture rings are rotated (I have 5d m2) and this breaks the mounts, besides, when the lens is shifted, micro-sharpness noticeably disappears in the carcass. I noticed that even the native 24-70 2,8 began to hang out a little after the frequent use of Samyang, although it used to get up tightly.
