I am very happy with the centipede. Do I want less money? Of course! But aren't we all? The fact is that I got into woodworking, I wanted to build a bench, but I didn't want to cut wood and collect all this from a cold concrete floor. I thought it would be a great "temporary" workstation as I had NEVER seen one before and thought it was "cheap" or easily broken. I think I was VERY wrong. I opened this thing up, put in 2x4 claws, threw down 3 2x4x6s, covered them with 6'x6'x3/4" plywood, countersunk screws, done. 250 lb man to test this bench, I sat on it first lol .Didn't move.Then I moved back,laid on it.Then I decided I was going to stand up,didn't move.I didn't want to jump,sorry!lol!but yeah it passed my weight tests.temporary bench"because I can take the top off and fold it all up, but I feel like I'll just skip the assembly table for the workshop and just use it as it's great that it can be pushed to the side when I'm not use it.
