Review on ๐Ÿš— Adjustable Car Barrier for Pet Automotive Safety - Walky Guard by Cindy Epps

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Exactly what we wanted!

We were looking for a way to keep our 70 pound, very active German Shepherd in the rear of our Lexus RX350. After reviewing many different products and reading many reviews, we settled on the Walky for the following reasons: 1) It mounts to headrests rather than a floor-to-ceiling sprung structure, eliminating the risk of damaging the ceiling or of the bottom of the car is eliminated. I also think this feature makes the barrier safer on bumpy roads and the dog can't "accidentally" bump into it causing it to fall off. 2.) Easy installation and removal. While you can always leave this in your car as it won't obstruct your view, we wanted something we could grab when we don't need it. It's such a spring loaded setup and I can remove it with one hand while I'm 9 months pregnant. It's also very lightweight, making it easy to store and very portable. It would be great if you had two vehicles to use this. 3.) Price. We reviewed so many that we ranged from relatively inexpensive to ridiculously expensive. We found the Walky to be very average and excellent value for money. Overall we are very satisfied with the Walky. No rattle, safe, easy to install and most importantly, keeps our large dog with slight separation anxiety where it belongs. I would recommend this product to friends and family.

Pros
  • The vehicle must have adjustable headrest supports for the mount to work. It will not work with a fixed headrest. Please tighten the clamps firmly.
Cons
  • High Price
