Scenario: You frequently work from home using a company laptop. You're trying to carve out a few more minutes of gameplay on your super gaming PC with a fancy big monitor, premium mouse and keyboard. Suddenly, a wild Karen appears (digitally) forwarding an email from your boss's boss asking for the location of a document on the "new SharingPoint site" (fourth time). Now you have to move your expensive mouse and keyboard (after hiding in a game, of course) to make room for your work laptop, only to peck out an answer on a tiny, sticky keyboard that barely flexes in your measly 15 inches . The device worked great for my work laptop/home pc and I will get another one for my kids virtual learning (school chromebook/home pc). Plug and play, no additional drivers or configuration required; works right out of the box. It has a mini USB port for extra power but I don't. Headphones, keyboard, mouse and webcam are not needed, highly recommended!
