Works great with SPI stick! Flashrom can only use 16 which can be leveraged; other pins are available for Windows software, but not via Flash (only until more work is done on this chipset). On microcircuits, the pinout of which is known to you, the microcircuits are connected to 8 pins far from the USB connector. Just go in and read and write a file with Flashrom, done. Be sure to label the pins on the BIOS chip if it isn't labeled before you put it back into the motherboard, otherwise the BIOS chip may get hot enough to catch fire. With this programmer there is no such danger and you can actually use it to find the pinout as the SPI chip type is read from the flash before it is written to it and is specified in Linux. Buy a few dozen of these if you fix computers.
