Review on Seventh Generation Paper Towels: 100% Recycled 2-Ply White, 140 Count (Pack of 4) by Dora Feldstein

Terrible paper towels

Those are terrible paper towels. They are very thin and not absorbent at all. We've started doubling them up to match what we're used to when using 'regular' paper towels. I went back to check the product listing, convinced they should be single ply and disappointed that I left it out of the description. I couldn't believe the description said "2 coats" (I thought that was wrong) and I used a 10x magnification to get a closer look at the rim before seeing that it was actually 2 coats, and I could separate them. They are double layered but I can't believe how useless they are. We'll probably end up buying another brand before using it. Maybe we'll use them to make a fire next winter.

Pros
  • Our Free & Clear paper is FSC Recycled* certified (FSC C115279).
Cons
