Better than ever

I try to use recycled products. These have met my expectations. They are quite enough to remove small stains. They are perforated so you can choose the size. It may sound petty, but if you rip it off, it will come off easily.

Pros
  • Bleached without chlorine bleach, made with no added dyes, inks or fragrances
Cons
  • New competitors have emerged

Cardboard tube is too big for most paper towel holders

Unfortunately they have changed recently as I have bought a lot of them. The cardboard tube is now much larger, making it more difficult to use with most paper towel holders. I wish they would come back and make a regular size pipe.

Pros
  • Durable and highly absorbent 2-ply paper towels made from 100% recycled paper* and 85% recycled paper
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Terrible paper towels

Those are terrible paper towels. They are very thin and not absorbent at all. We've started doubling them up to match what we're used to when using 'regular' paper towels. I went back to check the product listing, convinced they should be single ply and disappointed that I left it out of the description. I couldn't believe the description said "2 coats" (I thought that was wrong) and I used a 10x magnification to get a closer look at the rim before seeing that it was actually 2 coats, and I…

Pros
  • Our Free & Clear paper is FSC Recycled* certified (FSC C115279).
Cons
  • Working speed

A truly awful product, avoid

You buy something like this hoping to do the right thing: of course they're wrapped in plastic and come in a big box, but that's just the beginning. I've used recycled paper towels in the past and expect them to be a little less effective. That is not the problem. These seventh generation paper towels are at the same time very thin and surprisingly absorbent. Even water on the kitchen table they seem to move, but actually soak it up: it takes a second wipe with another towel to remove the water

Pros
  • . Just the right sheets, adjustable for small or large messes, so you only use what you need.
Cons
  • Modern

Reworded scam

The seventh generation (or Unilever) decided to downgrade the quality of their paper towels to effectively discourage anyone who dares to use a recycled paper product. I have been ordering these paper towels in bulk for a year or more because they are 100% recycled and the quality of virgin paper products. The PHOTO on the left shows the old thicker formula and on the right the thin new one. Now I'm dismayed to see that the new formula effectively picks up half as much for the same price. To…

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Some bugs
