I found ok. I had golfer's elbow for a while and the sleeve and band combo really helped relieve it both during and after a workout. You can wear just a sleeve, sleeve and armband, just an armband (although it will then burn), whatever suits you. As many others have said here, it works. A few caveats though. First, it works, but not fast. You may need to wear it for six weeks to six months or more, especially if you're not as young as you imagine. It's not particularly comfortable, and if you don't wear it properly, you can strain other parts of the arm it's on. It also doesn't completely eliminate the pain - it only helps to alleviate it. However, it will likely allow you to remain active despite the injury and prevent further injury.
