3 stars because 100 pieces for $10! That means they are CHEAP! But they do NOT claim to be expensive or high quality hence 3 stars, average product. The pins are cheap and VERY brittle and the plastic is cheap and soft. They soldered well and did the job, but if you want quality look elsewhere. If you want "good enough" look no further. UPDATE: I accidentally bought these again recently after forgetting who I had previously bought sockets from and the only reason I found out is that they were already full when I wrote a review of how crappy they are. , LoL. Well, NOTHING changes, except that they are even cheaper in my opinion! Legs were broken on arrival and/or stuck halfway out of the nest. The ONLY thing they can be useful for is new board designs. categorically NOT acceptable for rework. If you're not up all day and you're unlucky, you have functional pens.
