Review on 🐿️ Premium 5 lb Kaytee Backyard Wildlife Food: Ideal for Wild Rabbits, Squirrels, and Chipmunks by Julio Montano

I bought this for my daughter and I to give to everyone in our garden: birds, squirrels, etc. They LOVE the food, but be careful: the long thin seeds here are GRASS SEEDS, and they are actually growing. We scattered the seed on the deck. Squirrels and birds came, everyone liked it. but imagine my surprise when GRASS started GROWING between the deck planks! Of course, our deck is a bit unusual in that it's surrounded by trees all around AND it's elevated so water and woody "trash" can collect between and just below the planks, making the perfect environment for something like a long, thin blade of grass and their long, thin root systems. The seeds that fell into the cracks actually sprouted. and hell if those seeds don't grow strong, long, thin roots. We took them out for days and they kept coming back. Finally, the husband suggested pouring some vinegar into the cracks so that it seeps into the roots and stops growth. Needless to say, we'll never scatter bare seeds across the deck again. Maybe this is an exceptional situation and I rarely write reviews. but I wanted to warn others. Great food. IT LIVES!
