When I first unfolded this stand I wasn't impressed. It definitely lacks a bit of quality control. One of the legs holding the bottom edge of the laptop was dangling and the other appeared to be stuck inside and needed to be slid out. Also, the hind legs are dangling freely, so it can be really tedious to get into position. when trying to lift the laptop with one hand and position the stand with the other. You need to set up the stand with both hands and then place your laptop on it. It would be better if sleeve bearings were added to the legs to keep them in place while you install the stand. Since the legs felt so loose and flexible, I expected the stand to be unstable or wobbly, but once it has the laptop's weight on it, it holds up surprisingly well. This thing works great even with my Monster Lenovo P15 workstation. The small rubber bumpers are in the right places to prevent the stand from scratching the outside of your laptop and they keep it securely on your desk or tabletop. When folded it's about twice the size of a decent pocket knife, so perfect for on the go. For the price, I won't be too picky about quality control issues.
