Update ************ I've had this for a while and sometimes it would turn off for a short time and then turn on again when I first turned it on on the TV. I always thought it was this cable but I just upgraded my Onkyo receiver and it doesn't happen anymore. So if I could give this cable 6 stars I would. Even active cables don't work with my setup. They gave sparks and constantly turned off. This cable worked from the moment it was plugged in, fantastic, fantastic, fantastic. my HDMI connections. I don't really mind it much because all of my sources come from my receiver (which is across the room), but it's something to consider. This is also the best cable so far. If you value your time, you would have bought it already.
