These loafers are beautifully finished but the pointed toe combined with the arched rubber sole makes your feet feel like they're on the carpet sticky, resulting in a travel hazard for the elderly. It was difficult to return them because the person they were bought for didn't want to give them away. This is a very good quality for moccasins, but a squarer toe creates less of a trip hazard. We have found that choosing a size that fits the length and width of the foot results in longer or pointier shoes.
