We started in our studio, we didn't know any better and we bought super expensive mics, we didn't know you could get BIG quality with cheaper stuff, so we're growing and learning along the way. This Maono condenser mic was very easy to set up, plug and play with USB 2.0, no additional software driver needed and not even an external sound card! It's very stable, my cats can't knock it over, the base weighs about 1.5 pounds, it's a very solid mic, and the included case makes it perfect for travel and storage! It comes with a windscreen, a pop filter which is good because it protects the microphone from rusting, always use it, it also helps with the "pp" sound and of course it comes with a shock absorber which is made of steel became. All in all, plug and play, the carrying case is a plus, easy to set up with great sound quality, it can be described as a "budget mic", perfect for podcasts and voiceovers! Nice!
