Smaller than I thought

I deduct 1 star because of the size. It's a little smaller than I imagined. I thought it was the same size as the ones from the 1970's and 80's which was much larger than this new version. Now it fits perfectly in the hands of our grandson who is just over a year old and that is the main thing now. As he gets older, he may want to pick up something bigger and play with it. All in all a good toy. I think I should better imagine the dimensions from the product description.
