Do not use on babies

My family is German and I grew up with Penaten cream. It has always worked well and I expected it to work well on my newborn. It's too strong or has some ingredients that she didn't respond to because after two uses (which we started when she didn't have a rash) she had a full blown rash that was raised, bumpy and worse than I've ever had have seen her before. If you want to get rid of severe diaper rash, choose Burt's Bees. It still contains zinc, but it's natural and cleared her rash quickly.
