After I die, 1/2 the lightbulb is much lower.
After my 1/2 bulb died it was a lot less than the estimated time of 1.4 years; It lasted less than 3 months when used for about half an hour 5 days a week for a total of 120 hours of use over three months at a 1500 hour rating. 1500 hours, the BS 2/2 lamp died in two days and less than 1.5 hours. I've searched the internet for GE lightbulbs including this one and others and there are plenty of people who are encountering the same issues throwing fumes out of them for weeks and days. In addition, GE lamps will also explode and/or catch fire. Be careful when you buy them. Also remember to keep your receipts.
