Great storage BUT. for beverage cutlery

I poured my silk almond milk and mold has grown under the lid. Milk spoiled before the best before date. I also kept pineapple juice in another container. Mold was also growing under the lid. This mold cannot be seen simply by looking at the container. Very disappointing. I'm not sure if the plastic causes any kind of reaction with the contents. I would like these in glass.
