Review on Ailun iPhone 8 Plus 7 Plus Privacy Anti Glare Tempered Glass Screen Protector, Black, Pack of 3 by Shaun Helm

I had a screen protector on my last phone (the screen protector was from another manufacturer) but it ripped (along with the real phone screen) when I dropped it on the carpet! , so I decided to try this brand with my 'new' phone (took my son's old phone when he upgraded to iPhone 12). I understand the complaints in many reviews that this protection doesn't fit the whole phone, but it clearly says it doesn't fit many phone cases. However, it covers the entire "actual screen" albeit less than a millimeter wide; Seriously, you have to align this thing very precisely, otherwise you'll have one side of the screen slightly visible (but then again, unless you're far away, the screen will only "show" the smallest/thinnest part). To be honest this was the hardest part and I had to take it back and adjust it twice before I was happy. Despite this, the profile almost didn't bubble, and the 2 times I had small bubbles, they very easily pushed to the edge and disappeared; I had no problem getting it completely bubble free and that was after putting it on and putting it back on a few times (DO NOT let it 100% "seal"/"sit" before you know that you are satisfied with everything); I left 1 corner slightly lifted/peeled so I could pull it out easily when I saw the alignment wasn't "perfect". Installation is quite easy, although I still don't understand what "Guide Sticker" is. (s)" for, it comes with 2 along with a large round sticker to collect any random lint/dust/etc. However, after reading the instructions, going to their website and watching a video of their installation, they explained they didn't and didn't even mention anything about these 'guide stickers', what they are for, how to use them etc. As for the privacy aspect, it's good, not great, but good, I'm not sure why Some of the reviews have complained about how dark this screen protector made their screen because I had absolutely no trouble seeing the screen (and I keep the brightness almost all the way down/darkest) It's fine the way it is , but if they made any changes to it I'd say make it darker, not lighter!My previous protector felt darker and also "dimmed" the screen better when viewed from an angle became; With that, you really have to tilt it to completely darken it. As of now it works fine; I would just prefer it to be a little darker and get darker faster at a lower angle, but I think that's my preference. I remain happy with this product and feel the privacy works well enough that I will continue to use it. I have no idea about its crush strength/screen protection aspect and after my last screen cracked onto carpet I am NOT trying to drop this one and find out! I'll update if I'm not lucky enough to test it.
