This is not plug and play, it requires a driver to work. My laptop does not have a floppy drive and the URL provided in the user manual returns a "Not Found" message on the company website. I had to Google "FL2000 Driver" to find it. Product page on the company website. The actual brand of product I received is "Fresco Logic" which strangely isn't mentioned anywhere on this list. Installation was quick and once installed the product works exactly as expected. It was just weird how much effort I had to put into finding a driver. I'm happy with it overall, I only have to deal with it once and now I know where to find it. I don't know if I can paste links here, but just search for 'frescologic', go to the website, click on the menu options at the top left, then go to the 'support' page. You should find something there.
